The Ladies Guild:
The St. Stanislaus Ladies Guild was established in 1970 by a group of women (many with young children) who humorously referred to the meeting as “Mother’s Evening Out”.
From the beginning, however, the GUILD has been dedicated to providing assistance to our parish through care and concern for our Sanctuary. Charitable causes have also become part of our mission. The history of the Ladies Guild in the parish is a fine example for all to follow. These ladies have served the community with a sense of sacrifice and pride in our wonderful parish. Here are some of the projects the Ladies Guild participates in:
Altar Linens | Fun Outings for the Ladies |
Annual Pancake Breakfast | Host First Communion Reception |
Assist with Parish Picnic | Membership Mass |
Baptismal Bibles | Prepare Meals on Wheels Food (6 Saturdays/year) |
Bibles for Graduates | Priest Vestments – Care and Maintenance |
Children’s Christmas Bazaar | Scholarship for Higher Education |
Donations for the less fortunate |
