Lent is a time for reflection, penance and spiritual renewal. As part of our Lenten activities this year the Diocese of Raleigh is offering a Lenten Pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Activities during this special 1 day trip will include Mass with Bishop Burbidge, the Rosary prayed in different languages, tours led by the staff and Diocesan Seminarians, Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, Stations of the Cross, a family scavenger hunt, visits to the book store, and free time. Our children are very important to us. We want them to feel safe and welcome in our parish environment. Therefore, a Safe Environment Program for Children and Youth committee has been selected to assure their safety. The team will implement all regulations found in the Code of Conduct designed by our Diocese along with compliance with the Charter for Protection of Children and Young People (2002). Read More...
One of our signature events each year is our annual Polish Festival. People attend from all over the area to enjoy Polish food, dancing, crafts and fun.
