Our Parish

We are a growing, vibrant parish nestled in beautiful Castle Hayne, North Carolina, just outside Wilmington. St. Stanislaus has a rich, Catholic heritage, founded in 1907 by 3 Catholic families as a mission parish and through the years has blossomed into a parish community of over 250 families, serving in various ministries in our parish and surrounding communities.

Our Clergy

Fr. Steven DiMassimo grew up in Raleigh, NC and has been a priest in our diocese since 2021. Fr. Steven attended Franciscan University of Steubenville, and St. Charles Borromeo seminary in Philadelphia. He has served in several diocesan parishes and will now be the pastor of St. Stanislaus in Castle Hayne and St. Joseph’s in St. Helena. He has a love for the outdoors, and, when time permits, enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing. His other hobbies include cycling, small woodworking projects, and watching Carolina Hurricanes hockey. He loves being a priest, hearing confessions, and celebrating the Eucharist with his parish family.
