Role of Members:
Each member of the Pastoral Council will be assigned specific areas or ministries of responsibility. The member’s role is to be a liaison, to represent these specific ministries before the Council. This will include, but not limited to, the ministry’s status, accomplishments, plans, goals, budgets, financial needs, personnel needs and the like.
Each member will prepare a written report for presentation at the Pastoral Council meeting which will relay to the Pastor and the other Council members the relevant ministry information. A copy of this report will be e-mailed to the Council Secretary prior to the meeting and should be in a form suitable for inclusion in the Council minutes.
In addition to representing specific ministries, each member will review and consider similar reports from other Council members in order to discuss issues, analyze needs and make recommendations to the Pastor.
