Faith Development Program

St. Stanislaus offers Faith Development to the children of our Parish in grades Pre-K through 10th grade.  Our classes for all grades meet September through May on Sundays in the Parish Hall from 10:30 am to 12 noon.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist are offered to our 2nd grade students.  Students must have one full year of religious education prior to receiving Sacraments.  Copy of Baptismal certificate is required.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered to our 10th grade students.  Students are required to attend our 2-year program for candidates.  (9th and 10th grades.)

We have a wonderful teaching staff. All of our teachers have assistants, some of whom are previous students. We're very proud of this. We try to keep the students who have received Confirmation involved in this program and in other ministries in the Church.

We have Family Bingo Night approximately every three months. The proceeds from this fund raiser pay for activities for our children and their families. Some of these are: trips to Mike's Farm, Jungle Rapids, and Annual Dance, Bowling, Skating and Holiday Parties.

We have a contest during Lent called "The Chain of Hope." The children bring in non-perishable food.  They receive a paper "chain" representing a monetary value for their donation.  Each class has a different color.  The class with the most links is the winner.  All the items are donated to Helping Hands to distribute to families in need.

We are always in need of new teachers. However, we require you to be a parishioner for one year, be background checked and trained to be eligible to teach. If you are interested in this very rewarding ministry, please contact the Program Director or the church office.
